Already in the viewfinder, when shifting out of focus, the observed frame becomes alive. The scene grows into a dream, a draft to be continued by the spectator's mind. Attention is deflected away from the sharp lines and sober surfaces to be gently guided towards the experience of colors, textures and the greater, organic composition. Distances become soft and relative, bodies morph into permeable clouds, their colors converge and coalesce yet astoundingly without losing their respective identity. Everything de-solidifies, becomes transparent, while at the same time keeping its integrity. And the ephemeral, ever transient nature of all things is beautifully obvious.
